Overview

This is an easy one.

If you don't want the default blog-type front page in Drupal, you can create a basic page type of content and make it your default front page.

Creating a Basic Page

1. Select Add content.

2. Choose Basic Page.

3. Configure the options associated with the page.

4. Click Save.

Changing the Default Front Page

1. Choose Configuration.

2. Under System > Site Information.

3. Under Front Page in the Default Front Page field, enter the front page.

Use the specific node. For example:

node/64

Additional Information

-- This can be done instead if prompting a page to the front page.

-- The default setting for the Default Front Page field is to leave it blank. The RSS feed is used making it bloggy.
